In the third-season finale, Hank is unpleasantly surprised by a visit from Mia (Madeline Zima) and her low-life manager-boyfriend (James Frain). And circumstances lead to Karen discovering Hank’s past involvement with the young seductress. Meanwhile, Charlie must come to the realization that his relationship with Marcy may be over.

Hank is kept up all night after a surprise visit by Jackie (Eva Amurri) and two of her stripper colleagues from the club. He’s really sent scrambling when both Jill (Diane Farr) and Felicia (Embeth Davidtz) show up at his doorstep the next morning before the trio have departed. To complicate things ever further, Dean Koons (Peter Gallagher) also drops by, and Charlie arrives with a verbally abusive Rick Springfield (as himself)

Fearing he may have ruined things (again) with Karen, Hank plans to cool things down with the campus hotties, but true to form winds up getting burned by his amorous pursuits. Meanwhile, Charlie scrambles to keep the agency’s top client (Peter Fonda) from leaving the fold; and Becca chastises her father for the horrible role model he’s become

Trouble with Becca and her friend Chelsea interferes with Karen’s visit who wants to reunite her family.

Hank spends a bachelor weekend with an old buddy and shows him a good time; Charlie and Marcy’s relationship hits a speed bump.

Becca develops a new and more adult fashion sense which Hank doesn’t approve. In a strip club, Hank believes to reveal a student’s secret life.

At a university mixer, Hank comforts his assistant who was dumped in his very own way and Charlie celebrates his first talent signing.

After a job offer by Felicia Koons, Hank starts working as college professor and soon gets into trouble, while Charlie interferes with Marcy’s romantic life.

With Karen having moved back to New York, Hank has to deal with rebellious Becca. Charlie and Marcy move back in together despite the fact they still intend to divorce each other.
